With our credit card processing company having closed their business, we are currently only accepting personal checks (USA banks only), MoneyGrams (available at most WalMart stores), PayPal (3% transaction fee added to order), or postal money orders until we can find a new processor. All payments must be made out in U.S. dollar amounts.

Before you send us any payment, please request a quote from us for the current price of the items you intend to order. Due to the fluctuating value of the dollar versus the euro, the prices listed on this web site may not be the current price.

To make a Walking Tours of France order, please follow the instructions noted below.

Online Payment by Credit Card
If you are ordering online, using a credit card as payment, read the notes directly below. Then go to our Online Order Form page and follow its instructions. For payment, we accept accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. We no longer except American Express.

To pay by credit card, please list your credit card number and expiration date on the required lines of the order form. If your credit card billing address differs from your "Ship To:" address, we will need that information, too, plus the exact name on the card.

Credit Card Payment by FAX
To FAX a credit card order, fill out our Online Order Form, print, and e-mail us for our FAX telephone number to let us know the day/time you will be sending your FAX to insure that our machine is on.

Credit Card Payment by Telephone: We do not accept orders by telephone.

Mail-Order Payment by Credit Card, Check, or Money-Order
If you are ordering by check or money order, or sending us your credit card information via USPS mail or other courier, fill out our Online Order Form, print it, and mail it to us.

SHIPPING RATES & OTHER FEES

Shipping/Handling Rates
Shipping/handling will be added to your order per the following rates (USA states only). All books/maps are shipped Priority Mail. WTF reports are shipped 1st class mail if no books/maps are ordered.

Books: $7.95 for first title shipped. Additional book titles of a standard size/weight are $1.00 each (Five titles for example will incur a $11.95 shipping charge; $7.95 plus four titles x $1.00.) Heavy or oversized titles will incur a higher shipping charge due to excess weight over the norm and the possible need for a specialized mailer/box. This includes the large, spiral-bound Michelin Motoring Atlases ($14.95), spiral-bound IGN Atlas ($10.95), Chambre et Tables d'Hôtes guide ($14.95), France on Foot ($10.95), Michelin Red Guide (10.95), and others that fall into this category.

Maps: $7.95 for 1-3 titles shipped. Additional maps titles are $1.00 each. Oversized & wall maps are $6.50 for the first title.

Combined Books & Maps order: $7.95 for first book title shipped, then $1.00 each for each additional title.

Reports: $1.50 for each report shipped First Class Mail or if combined with books and/or maps order. If shipped Priority Mail Flat Rate, $6.50 for first report, $1.00 each for subsequent report.). Reports can also be sent via FAX for $4.00/report (addition to regular report cost; a $5.00 report would be $9.00).

Insurance / Registered Mail: If you want your package insured for extra safety through the postal system, extra charges will be added determined by the dollar amount requested. For orders over $100.00, we automatically insure them at no extra charge to you. An extra fee will be added for Registered Mail delivery. Request these service by e-mail at the time you send your order.

Sales Tax (State of South Carolina residents only)
If you are a resident of the state of South Carolina, we will add 6-9% sales tax to your order as required by state of South Carolina law determined by the county of your residence.

NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
If you live outside of the United States, we will provide you a quote via e-mail for shipping and/or insurance as required for shipment to your country. We ship International Air Mail or Global Priority International, whatever method is best for delivery to your country.

Please note: In the past, we have had some problems with shipping packages to addresses outside of the United States; packages not arriving, books damaged, slow delivery, etc. Although most of our shipments do arrive safely, nearly 20% of them per year have experienced a problem. Having to replace books and re-ship them is very expensive for us. In order to alleviate this problem, versus discontinuing foreign shipping altogether, we request that you the customer take the risk for your shipment. If you make an order with Walking Tours of France, you agree to assume all risks for your order. If it does not arrive, or any other problem occurs, Walking Tours of France does not assume any risk for your order after it is mailed from a U.S. postal office address. We will not reship your order without subsequent payment. If your initial order is lost, you assume the loss. This agreement does not apply to customers from Canada, USA territories, UPO addresses.
